Love Notes

Small intimate wedding celebrations have become very popular since the pandemic, as couples’ priorities, needs and choices have changed.

I developed my Love Note Ceremonies to cater for the couples who want to say “I do” before a small gathering of immediate family and/or close friends – perhaps because you have chosen to “elope”, don’t like being the centre of attention, are on a budget, visiting from another country, or simply because you just want to be married without fuss. In fact, these ceremonies now make up the majority of my work as a Central Auckland marriage celebrant. You could say that I am a small wedding specialist!

Couples trust my experience and knowledge – and the kind words previous couples have shared about me – and are happy to book my services for a Love Note ceremony without meeting me in person. We’ll have a relaxed Zoom or Facetime chat, and then I create a warm, lightly personalised ceremony using your responses to my prompt-questions which will be sent to you by email. You can still include personal vows. These ceremonies are brief, warm and intimate, about 15 – 20 minutes long, and ideal for a guest list of between 2 – 50 people.
